The Sparkler® V Dual Disc Filter offers twice the filter area of traditional horizontal leaf filters due to its ability to use both side of the filter plate as opposed to a single side. Typically designed for polishing or trap purposes, the V Dual Disc removes all traces of solids. Ideal for continuous or long cycle, low solid, viscous filtrate. 

This model is designed for use with synthetic, wire mesh and membrane. Generally, this model requires precoating with diatomaceous earth, dicalite or similar filter aid. If you are interested in using paper filter media, see the VR Dual Disc Horizontal Plate Filter.
