The Sparkler Wash-Off Horizontal Plate Filter offers thesame stable filtering features as the standard horizontal plate filter. Theadvantage to the Wash-Off design is that the cake can be removed without disassembly ofthe cartridge by "hosing off" (wet) or "tapping/scraping" (dry). A Semi-permanent synthetic cloth or wire screen filter media cover the plate whichfilters through the top side only. A pivot rack can be supplied to ensure easytilting of the cartridge to the cleaning position.

On the above left is a Wash-Off Horizontal Filter Plate Station. This station consists of a base, pre-coat tank, pump & motor, piping with all sanitary fittings, and filter vessel. On the right is the assembled Wash-Off cartridge for the vessel on the left. The cartridge is positioned in the "hose-off" position in a pivot rack.
